1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using QR-Codes Generator (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use QR-Codes Generator.

2. Description of Service

QR-Codes Generator is a QR code generation platform that allows users to create, customize, download, and track QR codes. The Service is available in free and paid tiers with varying feature limits as described on our pricing page.

3. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.
• You may not create accounts for the purpose of abusing the free tier or circumventing plan limits.
• One person or entity may not maintain more than one free account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use QR-Codes Generator to:

• Create QR codes that link to malware, phishing sites, or any harmful content.
• Distribute spam, unsolicited messages, or fraudulent content through QR codes.
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
• Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts.
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from QR-Codes Generator beyond normal API usage.
• Create QR codes containing illegal, obscene, or defamatory content.
• Resell or redistribute QR-Codes Generator's services without written permission.

5. QR Codes & Content

• You retain ownership of the content you encode in your QR codes.
• You grant QR-Codes Generator a limited license to store, process, and display your content as needed to provide the Service.
• You are solely responsible for the content your QR codes link to or contain.
• We reserve the right to disable QR codes that violate these terms or applicable laws.
• Dynamic QR codes rely on our redirect service. Static QR codes function independently of our infrastructure.

6. Free & Paid Plans

• Free accounts are subject to the limits described on our pricing page (currently 5 static QR codes, 30-day scan history). Dynamic QR codes require a paid plan.
• Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. Prices are in USD unless otherwise stated.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
• We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by law.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers will be notified before any price change takes effect.
• If you downgrade from a paid plan, features exceeding the free tier limits may become inaccessible but will not be deleted for 90 days.

7. Intellectual Property

QR-Codes Generator, its logo, design, and underlying technology are the property of QR-Codes Generator and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service. The QR codes you generate are yours to use freely, but the platform and tools used to create them remain our property.

8. Service Availability

• We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service.
• We may perform scheduled maintenance with reasonable advance notice.
• Dynamic QR code redirects depend on our infrastructure being available. For mission-critical uses, we recommend the Pro plan which includes priority support.
• We are not liable for any losses resulting from service interruptions.

9. Data & Privacy

Your use of QR-Codes Generator is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Termination

• You may delete your account at any time from your account settings.
• We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, with or without notice.
• Upon termination, your QR codes will stop functioning (dynamic codes) and your data will be deleted within 30 days.
• Provisions regarding intellectual property, limitation of liability, and indemnification survive termination.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, QR-Codes Generator and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless QR-Codes Generator from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your QR code content, or your violation of these terms.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through a prominent notice on the Service. Your continued use of QR-Codes Generator after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these terms or the Service will be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.
