• Scan analytics: When someone scans a dynamic QR code, we collect the scanner's approximate location, device type, browser, and timestamp.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide, maintain, and improve QR-Codes Generator's services.
• Generate and store your QR codes and associated analytics.
• Process payments and manage your subscription.
• Send transactional emails (account verification, password resets, billing receipts).
• Monitor for abuse, fraud, and security threats.
• Analyze aggregate usage patterns to improve the product.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

• Service providers: Hosting (Vercel), database (Supabase), payments (Stripe), and email services that help us operate QR-Codes Generator.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure servers managed by Supabase and Vercel. We use encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to production data is restricted to authorized personnel only. While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no system is 100% secure.

5. Cookies & Tracking

We use the following:

• Essential cookies: Required for authentication and session management.
• Analytics: We collect anonymous usage data to understand how QR-Codes Generator is used. This data is not shared with third-party advertisers.

We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

6. QR Code Scan Data

When someone scans a dynamic QR code created through QR-Codes Generator, we collect limited data (approximate location derived from IP address, device type, browser, and timestamp) to provide scan analytics to the QR code owner. Scanner IP addresses are not stored permanently and are only used for geolocation purposes.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access, correct, or delete your personal data.
• Export your data in a portable format.
• Object to or restrict certain processing activities.
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

You can delete your account and all associated data from your account settings.

8. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. QR code data and scan analytics are retained according to your plan limits. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes.

9. Children's Privacy

QR-Codes Generator is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by posting a notice on our website. Your continued use of QR-Codes Generator after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
